Labor tab

The Labor entry fields display so that you can add labor items with the following information:

Labor Rate	The labor rate from the configured list.
Work Requested	A description of the work requested (500-character maximum).
Work Performed	A description of the work performed. You can leave this field blank until the work is completed. (1000-character maximum).
Account	The QuickBooks Account assigned to the line item (Only available when Accounting Integration is enabled).
Hours	The number of labor hours provided.
Flagged Hours	Enter the actual time spent to complete the job. Note: This field is where you enter details about the work after it is performed.
Retail	The retail charge is calculated based on the cost, the Price Override settings, and the Markup settings from the Company Setup. If you want to override the markup, type over the amount in the Retail field.
Tax Exempt.	Indicator if the item is Tax Exempt.

To select labor items to add to the job:

Select the desired Labor Rate.
Enter a description of the labor to be preformed in the Work Requested field.
Use the New or Edit button to add or change Labor Rates to use to create the labor items.
Click Add Item.

Result: The Selected Items grid updates to show all the items selected with the following information:

Field names	Input
Type	The type of line item.
Code	The part number or code.
Description	A description of the part supplied.
Work Performed	For Misc, Labor and Sublet items this field contains a description of the work preformed. Note: This field is where you enter details about the work after it is performed.
Vendor	The vendor or supplier name.
Qty/Hrs	The number of parts.
Cost/Flg Hrs	The cost after discounts, markups, or the flagged hours.
Retail	The retail charge is calculated based on the cost, the Price Override settings, and the Markup settings from the Company Setup.
Line Total	The total cost for the line.

If needed use the Reset button to clear the entries.
Select another tab or click Submit.

Result: Either the selected tab displays or the updated Job window displays.
