Use the search fields to locate the miscellaneous item that you want to add to your job:

The available Misc Charges are listed with the following information:
Code |
The miscellaneous charge code. |
Description |
A description of the service rendered or the part supplied. |
Retail |
The charge of the service to the customer. |
Account |
The QuickBooks Account assigned to the Job item (Only available when Accounting Integration is enabled). |
QTY |
This indicates the quantity added to the estimate. Double click in this column to change the quantity. |
Select a Misc charge item.
Select the appropriate flags:
Tax Exempt |
Indicator if the item is Tax Exempt. |
Use the New or Edit button to add or change miscellaneous charges to use to create the Misc items.
Click Add Item.
Result: The Selected Items grid updates to show all the items selected with the following information:

Work Performed |
For Misc, Labor and Sublet items this field contains a description of the work preformed. Note: This field is where you enter details about the work after it is performed. |
Vendor |
The vendor or supplier name. |
Qty/Hrs |
The number of parts. |
Cost/Flg Hrs |
The cost after discounts, markups, or the flagged hours. |
Retail |
The retail charge is calculated based on the cost, the Price Override settings, and the Markup settings from the Company Setup. |
Line Total |
The total cost for the line. |
Select another tab or click Submit.
Result: Either the selected tab displays or the updated Job window displays.
