Creating disclaimer

To create a disclaimer:
  1. From the Setup menu or shortcut bar, select Disclaimers.

Result: A list of disclaimer notes displays. The list is blank if you have not entered any disclaimers.

  1. Click New.

Result: A New Disclaimer dialog box displays.

  1. Type a Title. Choose how you want to identify your disclaimers using letters, numbers, or both. This is a required field.

  2. Type your Disclaimer text. You can use both letters and numbers in this field.

  3. In the Settings and Prints On areas, determine how and when the disclaimer should print. For example, is it required to be printed on all documents or should it only print under certain circumstances?

Note: Florida based shops may need to select the "Print * for Hazmat and Shop Supplies" flag on the Print format tab of the Customer Setup window in addition to creating a disclaimer.

  1. Click Submit.
